Since 1829, Greenlawn Cemetery has been celebrating life and, of course, the afterlife. The beautiful cemetery encompasses over 40 acres, with approximately 80,000 graves, located within the City of Portsmouth. Each day someone enjoying a leisurely walk through the established pathways will discover something they did not know about our rich history. The monuments paint a dramatic picture of life in the 1800s to present day.
